On Thursday 3rd June 1999 I was back at the AXIOM, this time it was to see a band called The SECRET POLICE (as you may have guessed they were a Tribute Band to THE POLICE).
The IDENTITY PARADE of this band was:-
Unfortunately, the lead singer could not leap around the stage as he would normally due to the fact that he had got a broken leg.
The band performed such classics like 'De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da', 'Walking On The Moon', 'So Lonely', 'Don't Stand So Close To Me', plus the lead singers theme tune for the night 'King Of Pain', and my personal favourite 'Roxanne' which they performed twice, to name but a few.
They performed the songs so well, if you had closed your eyes it could have been THE POLICE themselves.
After the performance I suddenly thought they should have performed 'Behind My Camel'... It's an instrumental!
